The PA will work with our fellowship-trained spine surgeon to provide outstanding spine and orthopedic care to patients. PA duties include assisting with spine and orthopedic surgery, hospital rounds and call, and seeing new and follow-up patients in our spine center facilities in Anchorage. Our practice offers state-of-the-art diagnostics and documentation systems, and includes a commitment to quality. RN FOR SPINE SUREGON OFFICE, ANCHORAGE, ALASKA

We are looking for an RN for our Anchorage-based orthopedic surgeon office. We are seeking a Registered Nurse who will be involved in a variety of clinical activities including: 

  • conducting patient assessments 
  • administering treatment and medications
  • performing diagnostic tests
  • arranging patient follow-ups
  • recording medical history and symptoms
  • completing documentation in the medical record
  • acting as a liaison with other practices
  • providing pre-op and post-op patient education

The ideal RN will have exemplary communication skills and will be involved in patient education before and after procedures; how to use medical devices and equipment and prescription management.  The ideal RN will have completion of a 2-year associate degree or 4 to 5-year bachelor of science degree program including a state registration examination license to practice nursing. This is a Monday through Friday position, no evenings or weekends. We provide an excellent compensation package and health benefits.
